Hi all,

Would appreciate any feedback on my recent project PurchaseDOMAIN.co.uk.
Im quite limited to what I can put up on the site, so I've tried to make it as simple and easy to use as I can.

Also, regards the name...which do you think is best? PurchaseDOMAIN.co.uk or DomainAgency.org.uk or maybe one of the names I'm selling DominoDomains.co.uk ??

All input is much appreciated, especially so from the people who have been in this industry right from the start (I only started playing with domains 18 months ago)

Cheers, Paul.

I prefer DominoDomains.co.uk, because it has good brandability and is memorable, whereas PurchaseDomain.co.uk is rather anonymous and a bit unwieldy. Regarding your site, it does the job but is very obviously a template site, and I think it needs something to lift it. I think putting a unique logo design in the header will help a lot. I also like to see address and contact details in the header as it instantly shows me I'm dealing with a real business and adds trust.

Hope that helps.

Rgds

The main body content and background graphics/layout dont mess. Looks like its been edited by multiple people. Try limiting colour and font styles to a couple to improve this.

Looks like a frontpage edited site with multiple font tags that need cleaning up.
Code:
<font style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt" size="3"><font color="#000000">

Link naming... your page names (for example /page002.html) would be improved for the human eye and SEO if renamed to something like /domains.html or /sales.html

Gotta say I'm not a big fan of that header - the woman looks like she's clinically depressed or something ;)

Thanks for all the input thus far.

I am a little tied as to what I can use for headers etc and also the page names; ie page01918391839183blah de blah as previously mentioned!!

As for names, I forgot to mention CornwallDomainAgency.co.uk as well...as I'm based in Cornwall.

I understand what you are saying regards the name accelerator, I primarily went with purchase domain as they are prime keywords.

As I am now on page 1 on Google for the term purchase domain, I am toying with the idea of using one of my other names for as a trading name and setting up PurchaseDomain for domain registration rather than for the resale of regged names, although I also have Reg-it.co.uk to use too.

Thanks again, and feedback whether positive or negative is always welcomed .

Overall its a nice template but the way the content looks on it doesn't compliment it whatsoever. Regardless of what you call the site, you will need to spend more time making sure that the design itself fits together rather than having the forced together look at that the site has now.

Eg.

- Left hand margin should not be there whatsoever, the font is far too small.
- The top navbar looks nice but it appears terrible looking once compared to where you have all your content on the main part of the page.
- The female is pretty but she doesn't look inviting or engaging

Ok...header changed! Made a few small changes to the site today.
