Offshore Business Formation

Does anyone here have any experience with forming a business outside of the UK?

There are many companies offering these services but I am looking for an independent opinion.. as it seems to be quite a minefield.

Essentially I am looking for where, how and recommendations of companies who can arrange/manage this.
