Yes very pleased.

I tried others like LG G3 but that was slower and also comes with bloated software the G3 also feels cheap to hold and the battery life was poor compared to the oneplus one.

Does look nice but I do like the higher PPI of the QHD display that the G3 has. Also I added Spigen GLAS.tR NANO SLIM and Spigen Ultra Slim case back to it for protection. so "feel" goes out of the window. In respect of the software being bloated, one could complain of that on any htc, samsung or lg phone. In respect of the lg g3 it isn't as bad as some Samsung's and it is always possible to reflash it with the same Android ROMS that the Oneplus One uses if one wants to. I get a day out of my G3 but also have a spare official OEM battery and battery charger if I want to swap out. The G3 has a great camera and I particularly like the laser focus feature.

Yes the only thing going for the LG G3 is the QHD display which drains the battery. Yes you can change the battery and you need to as it's bad where with the oneplus you don't as it lasts for several days. With full support from cyanogen with regular OTE updates which you don't get from companies like LG, Samsung plus with no extra contract it's a win win for me.

I got the htc one m8, I get any 2 phones on my contract so never really looked at these like the moto and such.

Do they really stand up to the likes of the htc one m8 ?

Yes it does stand up well with a bigger battery,better camera,ram and 64GB
