Did anyone else get an email with a link to reset their nominet password today?

Or is someone trying to break into my account?

There have been reports of phishing attempts today by phishers pretending to be from Nominet.

Someone on Twitter posted saying:

Just received 7 emails supposed to be from Nominet about incorrect domain registration. I assume a phishing trip from someone?

They emailed Nominet to alert them, but said Nominet had not got back to them at the time of their last Tweet.

I register domains with 123-reg, and in order to access them in nominet, I have to use the password reset feature, then login and I get presented with the dropdown list of accounts, after which I can merge them. Am I doing something wrong? Am I wrong to assume nominet could just merge them based on the account details (they are all the same)?

I register with 123-reg also. Every name gets given a new nominet account number and id number. Its a pain having to merge names in my nominet account so often.
