I've been looking for an age now and I just know someone on here will have either bought one or seen one that fits my bill.

An all in one PC/Screen like this but a budget one £200 ish ideally or cheaper.

All it's for is to show 1 web site from the net like an info screen.

Ideally fits these specs All in One
  • WIFI
  • SCREEN
  • PC
  • NOT MUCH BIGGER THAN A LCD SCREEN

Ta muchly !

I replaced one in one of the mobile phone shops recently, but I can't remember which shop it was. It may have been 3 or Orange.

If you are passing either of these stores look at the pc/screen on the sales pods (not the main counter) and the make of the machine should be on it.

I think they were touch screens though, so probably above your budget.

Sorry can't be any more help.

Regards

Bruce

You tried CCL? They have great prices for their stuff - I've bought in person (my area) and online with them many times, good deals on there often.

E-mail them and ask too if you don't see what you need. :)

The screen size will be your budget breaker, or is the screen size or 23in not very important ?

Screen size not that important TBH for now just need a standalone solution barring power.

If it's for a shop window or similar, you might also consider a wireless pc to tv solution of some kind. That way, all you need to stick in the window is the monitor - the "working parts" (PC) can be elsewhere within 15-20 feet. That might make things simpler, depending on the precise layout you're after.

Thanks Edwin, Looked at that option and decided to go down the single unit option. No wires, 1 unit, (hopefully) less to fall over and only cable needed is for power.

The only snag is you still have to have a keyboard and mouse lying around (though presumably you can hide them somewhere under/behind the display. Whereas with the wireless solution that's not the case.

We'll be using a remote connection to gain access to the operating system like "Log me in" or similar. We then can make changes to the display from anywhere.

Thanks for all the replies looks like £250 ish is the norm for a new out the box delivered.
