Had one like that up here in Lancs last week. I was in the Gym, but the Triathlon club were out running.

My God did I larf! Poor babies got a bit wet ;)

Still not as good as the ones I got caught in when I was training in the alps a few years ago. Hell at 5000ft!

Had it here in the Midlands last night .. Driving up M6 right through Birmingham with an arctic lorry at the side of you doing 80mph with tons of spray and rain is scary

maidenhead, berkshire under 1ft of water

windsor high street, flooded

it has rained non stop in Woodely, Reading since 7am.....

still it could be worse.......... it could be snowing!

So much for global warming.

'Global warming' is an example of climate change. One of the results of climate change is an increase in extremes. So for example, warm weather becomes very hot weather and wet weather becomes very wet weather.

Lovely and hot today.. think I'll mow the lawn today rather then swim on the lawn like yesterday

At times like this it must be reassuring to live in High Wycombe.

Eton and Wraysbury didn't fare too well the last time we had day after day of rain.

I was going to insure my kitcar today. Don't think i'll bother :-D

This is my local high street

Ive been out and about all day hunting down flooded roads to cross in the truck :)

We only crossed if we saw a Land Rover Freelander attempt it, if they made it, so would we :)

The only thing aside from Artics and large trucks that made it through every flood? Land Rover defenders.

The only 4x4 that didnt attempt any? X5s. What does that tell you?

Might have 4 wheel drive but its not an offroad car :D

Ive got a 4.6 HSE Range Rover theres nothing that wont go over, Ive never even put it into low range gearbox.

This was the view from here on Friday

More than 50 of my neighbours were flooded, but 7 of us escaped. It's a very different feeling having the water lapping around you than watching it happen to other people on TV.

The guy in the Spanish lorry spent the night there!

More to come next week??
