Subject: [nom-tech] Service issues resulting from today's data migration
Our efforts to migrate all our data to the new database structure have
been completed. However, a number of the services that rely on the
database are not performing as we would expect. The Automaton, DAC, Online
Services and PRSS are all affected. Work is progressing on fixing the
issues with these services but we will not be bringing them back online
until tomorrow, Monday 11 June, at the earliest.
We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause.

We have had to suspend Automaton operations to deal with a problem with
replies. All emails sent to the Automaton were processed correctly, but we
have noticed that a lot of email replies were failing to be sent out. Once
we have fixed the problem with replies we will restart the Automaton. We
will then process those emails which failed to be sent and resend them.
Again, apologies for the inconvenience.

Automaton - Online
The automaton is being adversely affected by ongoing data issues and although it is currently online we are suffering some stability problems, particularly with the bulk update operation.
Also we are currently unable to process renewal requests. As a result we will not cancel any domain names until all queued renewals have been processed.
We will resume full service as soon as possible. Once fully functional however, response times may be slow due to the volume of queued requests.
I caught one at 3pm![]()
That wouldn't be d********.co.uk would it?
Dave
I got that at 5pm, but got another 2 before then. Loads have dropped now.
Quote from Nominet's secure area for members:So I guess they will be dropping 3 days worth of drops tomorrow![]()
