Registering IP for Dac

Does anyone know how long it takes to approve and IP address for DAC access ?

I assumed it was instant, but remember reading somewhere it can take a few days for nominet to add it to their firewall settings.

It was instant for me when I changed mine half hour ago.

Updates instantly I believe.

Live is instant, The test server used to be 24 hours, not sure if that is still the case

It's always been instant for me.

I found out the problem, the port was being blocked, I assumed it was a socket restriction or a php or a nom problem.
