Hi,
If a company is in administration, the assets of the company no longer belong to the shareholders or directors. The administrators have control over them until they are sold or liquidated.
In this situation, if a former director or shareholder had access to the domain name accounts and transferred the names into his own name, it would be taking property that did not belong to them. The same as having a spare set of keys, going into a building that no longer belongs to them, and walking out with property that doesn't belong to them.
In this scenario, does anyone know the fastest way (other than the obvious legal threat from the administrators and a voluntary hand back) to solve this?
Both with nominet for .co.uk and also .com domains.
Does anyone have any direct experience or advice?
Thanks
