Any Ideas on the value of this one, I have someone interested and told them I'd let them know how much I wanted tomorrow. There is a long story to this one but I'd rather get a couple of valuations before I tell you the rest, because I want a realistic valuation.

It's not a name that people type in especially. Except for the canadian insurance company Manulife, who seem to have branded an area of their site where people request quotes as "secure serve", and this has ov.

However, there is value in the term indicating to consumers that the area they are presently in is secure (even if it is no more secure than any where else) and many companies advertise themselves as the secure solution.

If it's Manulife then they have already marketed this as part of themselves and would be loathe to lose customers at the quote/application stage and I imagine would be prepared to pay high cost to not have it land in a competitor's hands.

If it's another corporate looking for a secure brand name then they have other options so you don't quite have them so securely by the . and your negotiations are probably a little more even.

In both cases if someone is asking you for it, then they recognise it as a potential "comfort" brand name and so probably value it quite highly. I don't see too many small players wanting to pay for a name like that. (could be wrong, might be a chancer).

So I think you are in quite a strong position.

As for values, having thought a bit about it.

I think it's a goodie as far as comfort domains go.

If I were in the market I'd probably expect to be quoted a fair £x,xxx for it, mainly because there is such a wide variety of corporate purchasers that would value it highly.

probably 3 or 4.

Nice name Paul, But you have much better in your portfolio

I would let it gor for about 850 tops.

Have you used this domain name for webhosting before? It is not a drop.

If above guys are the possible buyer I would not let them buy it cheap such as 500 GBP but also do not scare them off since they seem to be starting to create web presence newly. Ask around 3K. IMO
