Think of a number - don't tell me!

Double it.

Add 5.

Multiply by 50.

Add 1756.

Subtract the year of your birth. (e.g. 1970 or whatever it is)

Post your results below and I'll tell you the number you first thought of.

The number you first thought of is 25 and your age is probably 23 :D

(If you've already had your birthday this year then your age is 24)

It doesn't work for girls. (because they can't add up :mrgreen: )

It breaks down as being basically multiplying the number you thought of (say 33) by 100 and thereby adding two noughts 3300

Then just adding your age (this year minus your date of birth) so 3300 + 23 = 3323

No magic really!

(you could probably disguise it a bit better by adding [one] to the original number and then taking it away from the final number)
