What does it mean if the domain is suspended, but expires in 2020 I've never seen this before?

Nominet might be unhappy with the validity of the whois information

Or renewals have been charged back, or an official body is involved. So many things.

Unless Nominet make a judgement to cancel it, it will remain suspended until resolved, or until the natural expiry date.

Drop date is today will it drop then?

If the domain expires in 2020, then the drop date won't be today.
