Looks like the premiership are getting a bit carried away with it being the six nations, most goals in a premiership weekend record broken and still three games to be played! Match of the day will be a cracker tonight. :p

I put a quid on a draw in the Toon Arsenal game at half time. 250/1. Beer's on me tonight in Leeds :)

Yeah, a proper goal fest today wasn't it, and respect to Newcastle coming from 4-0 down to draw 4-4 with Arsenal, gutting for the gooners haha

At half time in that match I took over 6.5 goals @ 5/2, only £15 on it but paid for itself and my other 3 £5 fun footy bets today. Tried to get the bet on when it was 3-0, but as I clicked to place bet at 100/30, betting was suspended as Arsenal scored their 4th, odds then dropped to 11/8, so I waited until half time for the 5/2.

Amazing day in the Prem. Fair play Peter for backing the Toon at 250/1. At HT it looked more like an 8-0 to the Arse was on the cards.

Not sure there's anything more pleasurable in life than seeing Phil Thompson going completely mental on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday as he did this afternoon. With Charlie Nicholas going mental next to him.

Great day for English football.

Cheers,

Ed

I am assuming you had already been out drinking in Leeds when you placed the bet!

Fantastic comeback - had to watch it on Football First just to see Wenger's face. Give the Toon Army their due too - at 1-4 they were willing that ball into the Arsenal net when a lot of Premier League "fans" at other clubs would have been on their way home.

Being a Geordie I was over the moon at the final whistle, maybe slightly gutted we didn't win which actually sounds crazy since we were 4 down by the 26th minute.

That was a fantastic bet, I would have been jumping all over the place when the 4th went in.

I can't wait to see the Chelsea v Liverpool game today, shame Carroll isn't fit for it because he would do well in the atmosphere today.

I fancy Liverpool to win today, I have a feeling Meireles will get the opening goal and for Liverpool to win 2-1.

No didn't get the bet on, gutted because it was a £20 bet I was going to do, bet £10 and get £10 free with Sky.

Don't worry about the money, as money can't buy you everything.

I wasn't too sure about Fernando leaving, but today has helped make my mind up! Bye bye Nando. With Suarez and Carroll up front, there's hopefully going to be a lot more bite and punch to the attacks.;)

It could have got me some more questionable domain names though :)

Andy Carroll is what Crouch should have been like, he has the height and strength, in a few years he will be unstoppable.
