so web.co.uk is open for business this week as a job board for web developers.

yes its related to its content, it's memorable and at least it's being monetized ... but I can't help thinking there was an opportunity to do so much more with this domain ... or is that just me?

I don't think we should be too critical of his efforts. Not all of us have access to the funds or expertise to develop a site to its maximum possible potential. At least he's having a go, and surely that's what matters.

The only thing i'd say is that he might consider changing his status from UK Individual to a trading status, just to be on the safe side.

There's no problem with an individual trading, the problem comes when like the registrant of web.co.uk they're trading yet their whois states:

The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their
address omitted from the WHOIS service.
