What you think about that domain: GetMove.co.uk

Hi guys,
I'm planning to build the biggest moving directory in UK and just bought the domain: GetMove.co.uk
Because I'm not a native english and was wondering what you guys think about that domain?

As Max said, those words together make no sense in written/spoken English, nobody would every say/write "get move" in a sentence.

We see this many times on here, where people who may not be native English speakers join the forum, and they often post domains names containing words and/or phrases that don't make any sense at all.

i have choosed this domain,because is short,and easy to remember.All other similar domains are taken.
For example one of the most popular uk moving websites is: ReallyMoving - is that make sanse? I doubt that someone will say: "really moving" in sentence.

Surprised they have that domain as again thats a terrible combination of words and doesn't make sense in English. They have good branding though and obviously quite a big site, so if you have budget to build on it fine but the domain has no value undeveloped.

ReallyMoving is part of a saying "Now we're really moving" as in we're on the way, getting on with it, making progress, etc so I guess its within the language.

I can't think of an instance where I would use GetMove, GetAMoveOn maybe, getmove, no.

Getmove makes no sense - getmoving is so much better. It isn't being used so maybe contact the registrant to see if he would sell it?

He's right though it is a verb and a noun. Agree it's not a great name and it's not going to compete with rightmove!

Doesn't work well even as a brandable, for the reasons given above. It looks like a branding mistake from a non-native speaker.
If you are ambitious, you need a strong domain, not one that will drag you down.

I don't like it, it's meaningless and sounds wrong. You'd be much better off with a more brandable or one word domain.

I'm not sure what GetMove means, so it may not be fully embraced. That said, it subscribes to the two-syllable policy of successful sites, and may earn reflected trust from Rightmove.

It's a bad name and sounds stupid, no doubt about it. It's true that with a marketing budget any name can be used as a brand, but it would still be better to choose something that sounds articulate or at least catchy. If you want a name containing the word 'move' as a noun, look for an adjective to precede it e.g. fastmove, suremove, greatmove etc.
