Hi
so i have a question if this can be done and if so the best way.

I want to have for example 3 wordpress installs/sites but they all use the same wordpress database from master 1

so masterdb.uk is there everything is

slave2.co.uk
slave3.co.uk and so on.

then on the slave sites i will only display specific pages i have built on master1

should i just use wordpress multisite for this or can the above be achieved.
any ideas

thanks

Paul

Multisite is what you need yes. Be mindful of using syndicated content across 3 domains and what the benefits and/or conciquences of doing so are. Read up on cross site canonicals.

I have quite a few multisites in Umbraco like over 100 in one install.

Depending on what you are trying to achieve and how complex the slave sites are will change things.

If the slaves are 1 pagers then you could do something funky with the htaccess file otherwise it is wordpress multisite but be careful with multisite if for example the sites are in multiple languages or have a few hundred pages each then from other work i have encountered huge performance issues.
