123-reg.co.uk transfer question

Hi ive sold a .co.uk domain to a member of here and i have recieved payment and i have filled in the forms to send to the buyer, now we are both on 123-reg.co.uk so should i also tranfer it through the 123-reg control panel? if so do i do it now or when nominet have completed the transfer?

yes cheers rob got your PM but couldnt reply to say thanks as yours was full, the buyer is asking how will the domain go into his 123-reg user panel? which filling just the forms would not do this am i right? there is an option to transfer to another 123-reg user so do i do that now, then he has control of the domain while the paperwork is completed?

yes probably best to do that now, as the new nominet systems are a pain in the arse at locking names in a transfer
