Can't say I can be bothered getting involved in an argument about this. For me, it messes my patterns up. If for example, I am running DAC queries at close to 1000 a minute in the morning and nothing drops because of an error in the system yet the problem gets sorted in the evening then you've been put out of the running for the day (it's just nice to feel that you're in with a shot!). It's a pain in the arse but there's always going to be software glitches because nothing is perfect. It would be nice if Nominet could keep people updated on the status of the drop system. I think that's all that people realistically would like. Not sure why that causes so much controversy really!
