Speaking from curiosity, but not experience, might there be more mileage in getting a really good projector?
It's an option of course but the argument for projectors is continually diminished by the lower prices of larger tv's. Add to that the fact they cannot compete on brightness, contrast, dont have android baked in...so you need a box, installation, screen...

My 2016 Sony Android TV still gets system updates and is now running (latest?) Android 10.Surely on Android, though, whatever's baked into the TV - even if state of the art now - is likely to be old hat compared to the dedicated streamers that will come out in say 12-24 months' time? Just like Smart TVs from a few years ago can seem prehistoric (and super slow) compared to the same features in a dedicated streaming box.
