I used this guy for some logos before they changed to this new site http://www.veron.co. I noticed they did some banners too.

Might be worth a quick look, I was happy with the logos they did.

Hi - I worked on banners and designs for a number of large sites including Mortgages.co.uk, Diabetes.co.uk, Supermarket.co.uk + tons more. Rates for design are £250 for a suite of 15 banners - not by hour, etc. Let me know if you're interested - can supply examples - although most banners on the sites aforementioned are my designs.
