Anyone feel this last night?

I was semi-conscious around about when it happened and in north Lancs but didn't feel anything. There was one over in Yorkshire a year or two ago which woke me up early doors.

Nope, but not surprising since I'm on the other side of the country ;)

I felt nothing in South Wales although I did feel the Kent one about 4 years ago and the extension made a loud creaking noise

Anyone see the eyewitness phone interview on BBC news this morning, the woman claimed her husband knew it was a 3.5 on the richter scale from their past experience of earthquakes in Cumbria and said so mid-earthquake.

I live in Newcastle and didnt feel anything, strange with it being quite close.

That woman is going to be bragging about her husband being a human richter scale, I might find out his name and register it :D

We felt it. Our house shook.

There was one almost identice in size and location last year, but even so that is quite a claim

Yeah - I felt it but didn't realise it was an earthquake till my daughter who was on facebook said 5 minutes later "theres been an earthquake in Cumbria!"

no but I remember the late evening one about 18months ago epicentre north-yorks.

Caused a tsunami in my cup of tea... and cracks inthe plaster!

I felt the Cumbria one a couple of weeks back here in Kendal. The more recent one in Ripon I didn't feel although I believe some in Kendal did.

well the landscape is a bit of a giveaway guys in cumbria!
scafell area was a supervolcano!
only 40 in world. it's dead now. allegedly

Well yes... but much of the volcanic rocks in the Lakes were formed 450-500 million years ago so I'm not sure how much relevance that has now...
