Why is it every thread tonight has posts giving your opinion...
Sadly its an american trying to sell to an English market which sadly wont work.
English?
.co.uk - Sorry to piss on your chips but that also contains Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - nowt funnier than the English thinking they own the place
No one searches for good coffee as most people in the UK if they want good coffee then they goto the supermarket and buy nescafe.
ok...
- a 'good coffee' search would probably be someone looking for other peoples thoughts on what is good coffee. Searches often have positive or negative terms with the keyword ie. Nescafe crap or Nescafe good .
- People do search for items online, be is ball bearings , coffee , TV's or porn.
- Nescafe is not good coffee, it is mass produced rubbish. You can try out the 'negative keyword search' as outlined above by
http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=...icial&hs=Lwe&q=nescafe+crap&btnG=Search&meta=
You could reasonably try and make a reasonable site out of it to which it would be worth some money but..........
It just depends on if someone reasonably wants to go down this route, otherwise its a no hoper really
So if you want to use the name it could be ok, but if you dont it wont - quite ,er , reasonable
As your not a developer then obviously your after sales, and as I say an american trying to sell something to the UK when he hasnt even got a basic grasp of the UK way of life doesnt work being honest.
Its like us trying too sell you a website such as goodhotdogs.com
You already know what kind of hotdogs you like.
How does a person affect the value of a domain name? Would it hold more value if someone from the UK owned the name?!
Phew... as for the appraisal:
My only problem with the name is that Good is not the best adjective - Great / Best / Top are the pinicle ones. The word 'good' does differentiate between the negative alternative adjectives so it is not 'BadCoffee.co.uk' etc.
Interested end user I would expect in region of £1k however there could be a long time waiting.
Reseller £25-100.
