Wanted: Service High Ticket affiliate sites

Hi,

I am looking to put up a number of high ticket affilaite sites.

I'm only looking for something pretty basic - single page stuff really. I just want to be able to add/edit text and also put on some affiliate links and possibly adwords too to help enable good SEO.

I have no idea how to achieve this and would appreciate any advice or quotes on how much to help me with this.

I can't seem to get the hang of wordpress. It's a bit bloated for single pages or small websites with just a few pages.

For what you're talking about, learning some very simple HTML and CSS would be ideal.

Using an html editor and ftp program to upload your sites to your hosting.

I don't see it as 'bloated' see my first site footer for an example of a small website using wordpress

why bother learn HTML & CSS when you can have something 'off the shelf ' that does it for you?

I suppose it could be where you start from.

I had some HTML and CSS skill before I tried wordpress, when I first used wordpress I quickly became frustrated with it, I didn't find it very user friendly at all.

I quickly went back to dreamweaver, html and css

Perhaps the OP should try both.

With my own sites, if its just going to be a site with less than a dozen pages and no constant updating, I dont bother with any CMS. Larger sites or sites that will have content added or updates then I do. It depends on the job of course, but I've seen people use wordpress when they really don't need to. Sometimes it just adds code weight to a page and reduces load times.

Wordpress is fine for almost any site. You've probably been on countless wordpress sites and not even realised it was wordpress powering the site.

Integrate PT into Wordpress and away you go. Some initial setup but once its up and running it will update automatically, leave it be and move onto the next site. So on and so forth.

wordpress takes a little getting used to at the start, but once you're familiar with it it's very simple to use and the number of themes and plug ins make it a great choice for affiliates, even on small sites.

Wordpress is excellent, but if you fancy trying something simpler take a look at Affilipad (free from the icodes website).
