Here we go, here it came.
They did like many of you from what I read on this forum and other dedicated to domains.
I received this morning the now famous "David Thorpe"' No sale No game email.
And your account is closed !
Of course, just before proceeding to last month payment amounting over 600 Euros.
The irony of that is, this morning, I was just about to add an extra 200 unparked domains to Sedo.
Well, nevermind for that.
I am not bothered of not being able to use Sedo anymore: as stats, response time and all the rest were way behind. (a good example being the recent post about the co.co.uk ).
What tears me is their "bandit" methods:
- one email coming out of the blue without a line mentionning "if this is an error, please contact Sedo"...nothing like that.
- an email carefully sent just before sending payment for last month.
And as I said, after visiting many forums on the subject, they always have the same strategy. And I wonder how much they stole from domainers in total with this method. Anyone knows ?
Well done Sedo. 600 Euros, I can live without.
Keep treating people like that...and good luck. (I was about to write Customer...but it is not even that, I should have written Mugs as it seem that it is only what we are with Sedo)
PS. I have been with Sedo since 2004
