Whats the story with domains that should have been renewed years ago and still sitting suspended? example

Owww !!!!! i have some of them, when i first had domains expirie i didn't want to renew but couldn't figure out how to cancel renews so changed card details to one that wouldn't work, had letters off Nominet requesting renewals at 92 pounds each inc vat or go back to original registrar.

I kind of still own these ? sort of.

Maybe thats wrong for those really old ones. It will be something like that holding them up see it quite often. I think if Nom have been requested to renew but something happens to the account/domain it gets sidelined, probably waiting to be sorted out manually. I think anyway.

Sorry not Chris the guy who has http://www.moderntimes.co.uk who is http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/members/deconstruction.html has a few 2006 ones, the ones I have in 2004 and 2005 are detagged.

i think this also happens when you buy names which are expired or suspended.

its could be to make sure the new buyer has time to renew the domains

i had loads of these on my tag but have now deleted (or renewed) most of them
