ppc earnings fluctuation?

After a great leap forward in earnings through Sedo following their relaunch last week, now a slump in revenue. I'll have to cancel that Bentley I ordered at the weekend ;-)

Anyone else experienced this fluctuation?

yeah clicks that before the relauch were steady at €0.15 suddnely jumped to €0.60+ but are now saddly down to €0.10 and the last couple of days have been some of the worse ever - admittedly i dont have 1000's of traffic so would be good to hear how this is affect more consistant earners (if it is?)

is this an overall trend or is this just a minor dip in the sedo PPC values?

Any more feedback on the new Sedo payouts. Was very pleased until a couple of days ago when average epc dropped back a bit but still higher overall for me than before.

What I am particularly noticing that there are quite a lot of previous good earners not doing so well and vice versa. Time to get the worst ones parked elsewhere!

Exactly the same experience as above. Revenue went up when the new parking pages were launched and now slumped dramatically.

Went from about average €0.11 to €0.22 and now back to €0.09.

Looks like I praised Sedo too early Can Sedo explain if anything is going to be done about this?

Thanks for your feedback. We know the initial stage of our system revamp meant dramatically higher earnings for most of you. The next stage - where the earnings actually update automatically (dynamic pricing) was the next step. This means that the earnings now fluctuate in response to the dynamic income received from our advertising partner on the new advertising feed.

Generally, "non-commercial" terms, such as gaming, virus, freeware, chat, torrent, music, etc. are experiencing a downturn as advertisers do not seem to spend on online advertising for such products. Under the new corrected system, terms and domains related to commercial and viable industries (eg. pharmaceuticals, medicine, business, employment etc.) are doing very well. Basically, terms related to competitive and commercial products and services are experiencing a real boost under the new system.

Keyword optimization for relevance is the primary key for success in our new, revamped system. Choosing relevant keywords that reflect popular, well defined and commercial terms will ensure that your domains perform optimally with us.

I personelly searched whether the Bid amounts are actually reduced or Partner/SEDO percentages changes. This is an example of a lottery domain I had given before.

The example above assumes that all your visitors from all over the world click on the ad for which the advertiser paid the max bid. It does not account for clicks on related links, various advertising links or the search function. Neither does it take international traffic into consideration so I don't think it's an accurate reflection of the new system. In addition, that estimate is for Overture, who is, of course, not our advertising partner.

Thank you for your feedback and there have undoubtedly been improvements at Sedo. A few of us have sung your praises for the greater ability to customise parking pages etc. I praised Sedo so highly that one of the Sedo staff members contacted me asking if they could use my statement as a testimonial on their site.

But the crux of the matter is the big Pound Sign.

Imagine if your boss bought you a spanking new office chair, desk and computer and repeatedly reminded you that he'd done that for you. Then he went on to cut your salary by half... which you only discover when you get your next pay-packet.

How would you feel?

We welcome the improvements in the Sedo parking interface, but may I respectfully ask what the average percentage increase or decrease has been in PPC amounts for people using your parking service.

I have started a poll on these forums asking people the same question and then we can tally your figures with ours.

Thank you for understanding and keeping a free flow of conversation. Unlike other companies in this sector, there is an open channel of communiction between yourselves and your users which undoubtedly benefits everyone.

Absolutely agree with Azam.biz, however I have begun to move my names elsewhere. I need certainty and I can't believe how badly Sedo are handling this whole thing. I have contacted my SedoPro manager plus various other sedo forum representatives and not one has had the courtesy to address my questions. Absolutely pathetic.

I'm afraid I'm reviewing alternatives. I'm not impressed with a drop from 1 euro to 0.03! Also to the fact i was told my domains had been tweaked and find they haven't been touched!
