Nominet Registered Directly with Nominet ?

Caught the domain supplyteacher.co.uk today, out of interest did a whois lookup for supplyteachers.co.uk and under the registration agent it says:

This domain is registered directly with Nominet.

How comes the domain isn't associated with a TAG.

Purely guesswork, but maybe:

- the old registrant didn't tell their old ISP to renew it

- the old ISP detagged it just before renewal (in the days before positive renewals)

- Nominet issued a pro forma invoice to the registrant

- The registrant, for whatever reason, paid Nominet their hefty fee

- The registrant, for whatever reason, has continued to pay Nominet their hefty fee ever since!


Can't think of anything else obvious.

You can register direct with nom or via a member, this one has gone direct to nom so no member andor tag involved
