If you visit Sedo.co.uk then click auctions, then marketplace auctions it shows in the big list.

If you choose the drop down list and go for .UK it shows ZERO RESULTS

if you search for .co.uk from the drop down list it shows FIVE results - but not TFL.

Go SEDO! :)

That happens to me all the time, hence my direct link which hopefully still works. I think (hope) it'll get updated overnight.

Maybe they'll reduce their commission because you are doing their work. :D

Great opening bid btw Dave, congrats.

I know who the bidder is and I've had 3 people all offer me at least that outside of Sedo so emailed them all an hour ago saying make the offer via Sedo then they can battle it out in an auction and save me loads of back and forth emails. I know I'll end up paying commission but hopefully others come along and play the game as well and who knows......

Yep auctioning certainly best way of doing it Dave, not bashing Sedo or anything but did you not fancy Domainlore for it.

I imagine the work you have done already in marketing it to these certain people would have turned up for that just the same as they would as using Sedo.

They all approached me to sell, I had not intended selling, but the offer just got too tempting and I believe there are at least 3 serious buyers, I'm hoping it may appeal to others as well which I think Sedo is more likely to attract. Plus having had non payers recently via DL (reducing my competance level through no fault of my own even though one did eventually pay) and the time it takes trying to contact buyers, not as keen to use DL as I was. I have several with pre bids on that decided just wasn't worth the hassle of chasing up non payers so haven't auctioned them.

nice one Dave, good to see a bigger LLL sale they seem to have dried up recently. perhaps they are seen as a novelty item hence have been effected by the recession.

Just a reminder that the auction will end tomorrow at around 2.30pm.

As there is still only the opening bid I can only assume everyone is waiting until the last minute. :)

Shame that the SEDO pre-auth nonsense means my mate with £10k cant bid ;)

Also a shame than you have to line Sedo's pocket with a valuation fee (report) simply to list a domain for over £10k.

Why doesn't anyone at Sedo have the brains to show people before they bid what they are allowed to bid up to if they insist in putting in these safety measures.

A simple bid of the page that says, "you are allowed to bid up to £10k, without pre-authorisation" etc

Instead, you are not allowed to bid past 19k, you have 10 seconds to get us to answer your email and authorise you before this auction finishes.

It happens time and time again, buyers get peed off and sellers get peed off. Not a brains of Britain problem to sort out either.
