Age of a domain name.

Hi,

I am seo'ing a site im working on for my company,

I registered the domain on the 24th of april 2010

I have got it to rank at the bottom of page 1 for "birmingham electricians" with some good links.

Do you think when its 6 months old it will rank better? I find lots of info that says domain age is worthless, but you lot on here seem to hold domain age highly.

In 6 months the competing sites will also be 6 month older.

Domain age is imho only one aspect of ranking. It helps, but is not a barrier to rankings.
