I haven't counted them all, but certainly into double figures for this one domain name over many months. Latest version posted below. Maybe this strategy is successful spread over enough time, and domains. Strangely, the domain is not listed with Sedo so there is no valid link for payment. However, a very similar (better) domain is listed inviting offers.

    Hi Sir or Madam,

I'm convinced you are the ideal candidate to own managing-****.com so I've taken the liberty of answering the questions you're most likely to have about why you should purchase the domain name today.

    1. "Why do I need managing-****.com?"

You're currently diluting your brand and losing valuable traffic. When many individuals think of your business they automatically think of managing-****.com. How many potential visitors are looking for your website, cash in hand, but instead go to the memorable and prestigious managing-****.com?

    2. "I already have a website!"

Perfect, so do most of my clients! They acquire the additional domain name not to set up a new website (although that's possible too) or change the address of their site (also possible), but simply to redirect the new domain to their website. When potential clients visit managing-****.com, instead of being shown confusing ads by some domain parking company, they are instantly redirected to the site they are looking for.

    3. "My web designer told me I don't need another domain."

I love web designers and they're great at what they do. Heck, even I started out as a web designer! But ask any professional online marketers, SEO specialist or branding consultant and they'll agree that it makes a lot of sense to have several premium domain names such as managing-****.com centered around your business if you want to increase your online reach, website traffic and reputation.

    4. "Is managing-****.com for sale and what is the cost?"

A: Yes, please look here for current pricing: https://sedo.com/search/details.php4?domain=managing-****.com. Note that the price shown is a one-time fee for full ownership.

    5. "How will I pay you and how am I protected?"

A: For your full protection you can pay by PayPal, credit card or wire transfer. Your payment is held in escrow by the world's largest domain name marketplace (Sedo) until you have full ownership of managing-****.com, so your money is safe at all times.

    6. "How will I receive managing-****.com?"

A: You can either open an account at my domain name registrar or you can transfer the domain to any registrar of your choice. It's all very easy and I'll help you with the details.

    7. "Will you configure my domain?"

A: Absolutely. Most of my clients simply want to redirect the domain to their existing website and I'll be glad to do that for you at no charge. I can also advise you about slightly more challenging configurations, such as transitioning your website to the new domain, or having both domains display the same website. Anything else you need such as SEO and marketing service, check out my website Biz Innova and I'll be at your service.

    8. "Sounds great, how do I get started?"

They're just automated emails that are sent out at specific times.

Uni-registry are one of the worst for this. Try and get a price for a domain through one of their brokers and you'll get automated emails every few days for months.

Agreed, Persistent isnt the word for Uni-registry, pain in the arse for a once enquirer, great for sales.....apparently. I asked about the .com version of one of my brands years ago, now I have them pestering me 6 times a year even after I've archived the enquiry and told them a handful of times that there isnt a hope in hell id pay what they are asking so please remove me.............still get them reaching out.

I have never asked for a price on any domain listed with a broker/parking service. The reason for contact in this case is that I have the matching co.uk, which makes me a potential buyer for the .com. I tried to unsubscribe from the emails, but only temporary effect.

I was surprised that less than 20 minutes after the above post, I received another email to say that sender had unsubscribed my email address. Our conversations are being monitored.

Sure are, which is why I ditched them, plus their appalling UI.

I quite like the admin UI. It's the sales landers that suck.

Is that because you posted the 'unsubscribe' link in your first post?

Quite ironic, considering the domain in question:D
