Interesting to be watching the biggest historic event played out in the UK's history since the second world war.

It's like watching a car crash from an aeroplane.

Scotland is 9% of the uk population , So 9% difference.

The fact that it's now being thought of as an incredibly tight vote ensures that voters will turn out in their numbers. The Yes voters were perhaps the more motivated to turn up at the ballot boxes, but now the opinion polls will motivate the No voters to turn up.

I'm not Scottish, and never have had any interest in the vote. Won't change anything for me. Always thought they were a bit independent.

The film 'You've been Trumped' is a very good tale of how Scotland has a very big chance of ending up, if they vote Yes. Then they'll all be heading south of the border within 5 years, with tales of woe and comparing it to the highland clearances.

It's certainly an interesting time, never more so has political engagement been evident as now at drunken parties across the country at 2am, dislike the divisiveness of it all, but the value effect on domains (.UK) isn't major seeing as that has been diluted for some time.

Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but Hardeep is actually from London despite the accent.

I'm back in Scotland so will be voting next Thursday. Would have been gutted not to have been able to vote on such a huge occasion.

I've just bought a house here in the Borders so that my kids have somewhere to call home here, but from September 2015 I personally will be splitting my time between here and Spain. Best of both worlds!

From a selfish domainer perspective I think separation from the UK dilutes the .UK 'brand' in a holistic way.

Scotland might only be 9% etc but long term, in the sense to those looking into the 'UK' we're now not quite as stable as we once were, more disjointed - any sort of uncertainty can't be good for markets.

Not being an expert on these things. I am wondering what the currency outcome would be for an independent Scotland.
I don't think the UK could afford to see an Independent Scotland fail, no more than they wish the Republic of Ireland to suffer economic distress.
Any ideas.
