Matt, I have downloaded that latest copy, and checked I have PHP5, it still wont create the new tables needed.

Any ideas?

Techtimmy - I do not see why it would not work, the best I can say is if you buy and it does not, and we can not get it working then I will refund.

Admin - Any Chance you can send me a login to your admin area so I have have a look and try and get it working for you

Hi Gold Frog

I have just sent you a PM. It is something to do with MySQL versions I think. I have sent you some SQL if you can try running it on your wordpress DB and then let me know. If that does the trick I will add the fix to the plugin.

I am not sure what the problem is with your setup, I have 100's of users all working fine. I have had several people contact me about the plugin not creating database tables but to my knowledge I have got all those people working.

As you will be aware, there are many different setups people may have, different versions of MySQL, PHP and wordpress all make a difference. I have covered everything I can with the plugin, if as I have found there are specific issues with some setups and we can put a finger on what the issue is I apply fixes to the plugin for its next release.

Paullas I have sent you messages asking you to contact me about your setup so I can get you up and running. Please do message me either on here or via email so I can help. I am not sure which user you are on my system so I can not contact you or find your issues unless you contact me first.

What I have said to all users is if you buy and can not get it working I will help out, if I can not get it working then I will of course refund your money.

In summary 100's of users and only 4 or 5 have had issues, I don't think that's bad! I have never had anyone I can not get up and running.

Hope that helps

Ive decided to give it a go. Ill let you know how it goes

Just to follow up, Ive been using this for a few weeks now and so far its been great. Only issue was an error message on activation about not being able to create the tables but it had infact created the tables. (I had a quick gander but couldnt see why it was moaning so just ignored it as it worked fine).

The actual plugin is very good. It handles aff window feeds great. No other bugs to date and has been very reliable. No conflicts with any themes ive used.
So yeah, im happy

Also had that error message pop up, but the tables were created.

I gave the plugin a good working last night and its great. Will be using it on future projects.

I have had a several people report the error, I think it is specific to certain MySQL versions but not entirely sure, working on a fix, for the next version, but it would be useful to know your MySQL/PHP versions if that is possible as I need to try and replicate it.

Also working on click tracking which I think will be useful, you will be able to see how many clicks each link generated

[jimm]

Im running Apache v2.2.3, PHP 5.2.6 and MySQL 5.0.45.
Drop me a PM if you want a test account on my server.

Hi All

I have just created a forum for both the datafeed and amazon plugins. I have not released it to all users as yet as I want to see how it goes for a little while first, but if you are a plugin user (or if you are interested in the plugins) please do go over there and signup and post any questions or issues you have.

I hope that this forum will develop over time, but this is a starting point to see how it goes.

Kind Regards

Hi Matt

I'm getting this error on a new site

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /home/domain/public_html/wp-content/plugins/multifeed/multifeed.php on line 109

Edit: Ignore that the uploads directory wasn't writeable! - Working fine now

Cheers
Matt

well i can honestly say i have tried this again with affiliate window feeds and dosnt work for me. if anyone is using this can you pop in chat and pm me as i bought this from day 1 and has never worked right...

[fresh79]

I bought this and had problems with it from the start,
I use insallatron to one click install WP 2.9.1 on a cpanel setup =
MySQL 4.1.22 + PHP 5.2.11

First gripe, it only installs 1 of the 2 tables, thus the error message says the db user does not have permissions, well it does or the first table would not have installed right? so i checked my permissions (even tho I know its right) - and the db user has all permissions

So i make my own SQL file and install the 2nd table this is not exactly rapid deployment of WP site + datafeed but I can live with this...

finally installed and it wont work with affiliate window feeds? no matter what I do with the feeds, pipe, comma, zip, gzip nothing (digitalquil informs me that it wont work with gzip - slightly annoyed that this wasnt clear, or even stated!)

now I want a refund please as stated in the earlier posts
Thanks

Mine works fine with aff window feeds. Works great for me. Sometimes I think it's to do with the hosting provider.
