Not a lot of hype over this is there? Compared to previous ones anyway.

Nobody I know has even mentioned it (and the majority are in their earlier 20s so probably the type of people who'd be the target market). Not sure if I'll bother with it either.

I go in Tesco around 11:30-12pm after the gym and I happened to be there for Fifa, Black Ops and GTA and the queue would be easily 100 meters long from the game counter down the full length of the extra store, up the aisle next to it and half way down the next.

People had like cases of beer, bags of crisp and snacks.

For Fifa I heard 1 guy all happy he got the game but was aksing where the xboxes were in the store.

I own an top end Alienware M18x gaming laptop (dual x80 GTX graphics, 32gb Vengeance Ram, Extreme Unlocked i7 processor, all overclocked to buggery) and I wouldn't even go stand in a queue for a game, time for a check up from the neck up if you ask me.

Hardly any queue this time, maybe 20 people. Was around the whole floor last time.

Fifa and GTA had massive queues, Black ops 2 maybe 100 people.

Why bother going out the door anyway, just Steam it.

Not a big hype as most people are just waiting for it on the new consoles which come out in a couple of weeks, not point buying it twice.

Agree, very underplayed by the media this time round and from the reviews it seems rather underwhelming. It's also a slightly odd time as the new consoles are out as Chippy points out, it amy be a better seller as Xmas hits and people have the new consoles? But I'm not yet sold on how much better these new ones are...

I like a physical copy personally, if steam ever get tradable services then I'll go there. I also game alot when not online, so I like games which will run off my hard drive like Crysis or off disk, where lots of steam games (in my limited experience) require net connection.
