Twitter has helped me heaps ! :-
Met Scott Quinnell, got into the Radio Wales studio once (by invite, not by breaking and entering), met Katherine Jenkins (too briefly) and got me into becoming a movie extra !
Life in this my little Welsh town of Ammanford would be so boring without it (believe me... - if I broke wind it would make the front page of the local newspaper)

Seriously though, it's very useful for networking and keeping on the pulse - I use Tweetdeck on my laptop and the twitter app on my Blackberry.
Yes.... I am addicted. Just don't do an Acorn App (is there one ?) - my girlfriend will definitely leave me...
